When Atlanta Celebrates 'Kanye West Day' and why?

Atlanta celebrates July 22nd as 'Kanye West Day' From 2021 onwards.

Kanye Omari West was born in Atlanta on June 8,1977 and raised in Chicago, Illinois.

He is a well known rapper, Singer and Song writer and a fashion designer also. His parents got divorced when Kanye was at the age of 3. His mother Dr.Donda C. West worked as  a professor of English at “Clark Atlanta University”, Atlanta.

Kanye West's mother Donda passed away in 2007 due to unfortunate cosmetic surgical complications. After 14 years of his mothers demise, Kanye dedicated his tenth studio album to her mother.

In July 2021,After the release of his tenth album, Kanye West came to Atlanta and arranged a party to listen to his new album at Mercedes-Benz stadium. Almost 42,000 people attended the stadium along with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

The concert showed one of the important days for Ye. West was presented with a Dr. Donda West Meritorious Award on that day.
