Twitter: Chaos As Musk plans to LayoffHalf of Staff

Because of Elon Musk's plans to layoff half of Twitter's staff, the platform has stopped working for users in some other countries.

Several users reported they have been unable to log in to their accounts for a period of time.

A notice sent by Twitter concerning staff terminations appeared on Twitter Friday, according to The Verge.

Employees who will be kept will receive an email at their registered email address and employees who will be let go will receive an email at their personal email address.

Additionally, meetings at the offices will be put on hold and administrative access will be suspended. This might partly explain the ongoing card shortage.

Twitter currently has about 7,500 employees.

Elon Musk is attempting to revitalize the social media company.
