Quentin Tarantino Blasts Current Film Era: "There's No Excitement!"

Quentin Tarantino, director of such films as Pulp Fiction and Inglourious Basterds, has never been one to shy away from sharing his opinion.

In a recent interview, Tarantino blasted the current film era, calling it the "worst time ever" for movies. Tarantino went on to say that there are too many franchise films and not enough originality.

Tarantino stated that the current movie era is tied with the 1980s and 1950s as the worst in the hollywood business.

He points out that in the 80s, the motion picture industry was in worst turmoil than the decade.

He further added that matched only by the current era, matched only by the current era! The director also noted that the ones that do not conform are the ones that have an edge over the others at present.

Quentin Tarantino also named “Once Upon a Time” in Hollywood his best film to date.

For many years, people used to ask me how much I've loved my children. I would reply an example like, Oh, they all are my children. I do think Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is my best movie.
