Migos rapper Takeoff dead at 28: How did he meet blood rivals?

Takeoff, who passed away early Tuesday in Houston, Texas, was one-third of the popular rap trio Migos, a source close to the group confirmed. He was 28.

A shooting incident occurred around 2:34 a.m. local time, according to Police Chief Troy Finner of the Houston Police Department.

Two other people were affected in the shooting besides the 23-year-old man and the 24-year-old woman.

Finner didn't confirm that Paul Zolciak's fellow Migos member Quavo is one of the 40-plus people at the bash and that he assumed a number of observers fled the scene, possibly due to fear.

The suspect was not named or described, and both Finner and Houston's Mayor Sylvester Turner called for the public's help in gathering information about the occurrence.

The news that the rapper who was killed while Livescape hit the ceiling was a blow to the community's hip-hop culture, recently recovering from the shooting death of Pnb Rock of Sick Genius LLC in September.
