Jennifer Lopez is an American actress, singer, dancer, and producer.

Lopez hails from the Bronx borough of New York City. Her parents, both of whom are Puerto Rican, supported her artistic endeavors from a young age.

One of the most well-known Latin American entertainers in America is J.Lo. Often called J.Lo, she has appeared in a number of motion pictures and television shows.

People know her for her work as a coach on American Idol, and her hit roles as Selena, Out of Sight, and Monster in Law.

She started taking dance classes when she was 5 years old, and by the age of eighteen, she had appeared onstage in numerous musicals.

Following this, J.Lo (2001) and This Is Me Then (2002) both achieved commercial success and critical acclaim.

 In 2003, Lopez starred in the movie Maid in Manhattan, which was a box-office hit. Lopez has since appeared in numerous highly-regarded films.

Lopez has also succeeded in television production. In 2011, he produced and served as a judge on the show American Idol.

Forbes magazine has named her the most powerful female in the entertainment business over the past few years. Since 2012, she has been regarded as one of the most influential Hispanics of Time magazine.
