Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced on Twitter that he will pause thesubscription plan for his company's Twitter account. This move comes as a response to criticism from some of his followers who feel that Musk is not doing enough to keep them updated on his progress within the company.
Musk had developed the plan to charge $8 monthly to verified user accounts on Twitter.
However, we were forced to disable this after it was allegedly exploited by multiple scammers.
On Tuesday, SpaceX founder of the firm tweeted acclaim that he's paused his relaunch of Twitter subscription plan.
He also tweeted that “Chaning forward of relaunching Blue Verified until there is high certainty of stopping impersonation.”
Elon Musk said, "I might offer different checks for corporate entities than for individual clients." This plan has been highly criticized by audiences and users.
However, Elon Musk has defended his decisions and claimed that the blue check mark will be the great leveler.
