Corri Zimmer White, his sister, revealed Adam Zimmer's death on Instagram Tuesday . He died on Monday, she said. No cause was given.

He has worked as an investigative reporter and bureau chief in the Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and McClatchy Newspapers. Zimmer is the author of three books, most recently "The Uninhabitable Earth: How Scientific Frauds Are Destroying Our Planet.

Corri Zimmer White commented in her Instagram post noting that Adam Zimmer told her many times how she loved seeing him become a father to his 1-year-old twin nephews.

Adam was incredibly knowledgeable, hardworking, liked by everybody he met, and enthusiastic during his hours with the Saints. He developed into a great trainer swiftly during his stint there.
